When you see dirt built up like this LEAVE IT THERE!!! Disturbing it an any way usually pushes dirt into the bearing so until you are ready to replace bearings I suggest that you leave it alone. |
Glue an O-ring to your back cover. This keeps dirt out and oil in. |
After taking the back part of the motor off yours will look something like this. Obtain a syringe with a needle and fill it with your favorite bearing oil. |
Do the same for the front bearing. |
I put a GMK "Carb-O" in the recessed portion of the back plate, not sure if it helps. |
Don't forget to apply threadlocker to the screws. |
