Shocks

This is the best way I have found to build shocks with out a bleeder hole.

Fill the shock up with your choice of silicone shock fluid and work the shaft all the way up slowly then back down even slower noting that air bubbles will probably come through the piston holes. Let the bubbles escape for a few minutes.

Once the bubbles are gone, move the shock shaft up about 1/2"
Put a bladder on top and push it down until it is level with the body. Notice is should push excess fluid out leaving no air inside.

Now pull the shock shaft back down and it should pull the bladder down with it.

The bladder is pulled in and the side view shows it having a slight taper which is what you are going for after the shaft is pulled down. Notice again the excess oil from pushing the bladder down. Now you just screw on the cap!

When done correctly the shocks will actually come apart like this.
